Early Fieldfare at Twewince

A very early Fieldfare at Trewince was my earliest record after a single, 24th Sep, flying over at ASF, Salop. 

  At the two sites that I looked at today, you could see that there was an increase in migrants with Spotted Flycatcher being the most numerous. Altogether I managed to see 1 Fieldfare, 16 Spotted and 3 Pied Flycatcher, 5 Tree and 3 Meadow Pipit, 2 Whitethroat and Whinchat, 7 Blackcap, 20+Wheatear, 4 Chiffchaff, 10+Willow Warbler, 20+White, 5 Pied Wagtail and 6 Yellow Wagtail. 
  Will Scott let me know that there was a Fieldfare at Trewince with good numbers of migrants and when I arrived I found the thrush in the nearby pines with up to 8 spotted Flycatcher.

Over 45 Spotted Flycatcher were seen on St Mary's.

My only Bar-tailed Godwit of the year so far was at Porthloo

  Other birds of note including a Melodious Warbler in the tennis court area, Garrison. Nearby there was a Lesser Whitethroat and the first Firecrest of the autumn. Only a single Wryneck could be found at Deep Point Quarry and St Agnes the Barred Warbler was in the Chapel Fields. Yesterday up to 5 Wryneck were on St Mary's, including 2 together at Bants Carn.. Also yesterday a Dotterel flew over Telegarph towards the airfield and a Melodious Warbler was at Newford Duckpond. On Bryher there was a new Icterene Warbler at Rushy Bay, over 20 Whinchat and an Osprey, later seen over St Mary's. St Agnes a very rare autumn record was of a Golden Oriole at Covean which had been present for the last few days.
