1st winter WILSON'S SNIPE was feeding with 5 Snipe in front of the ISBG hide, Lower Moors
A quick look at Lower Moors found the 1st winter WILSON'S SNIPE performing at very close range in front of the ISBG hide. This is by far the best views I've observed of the Wilson's since it's arrival over two months ago. There were also the 2 Yellow-browed Warbler calling at the Rose Hill end and at Porthloo there were 3 Black Redstart and a single Whimbrel..

At Newford Duckpond there were the 2 Yellow-browed Warbler and 6 Chiffchaff including a 'tristis' type. Less numbers of birds at Content with only 5 Skylark, 50+Chaffinch, 5 Linnet and Goldfinch, 4 Blackcap and 2 Chiffchaff.

While waiting for a boat to come into the quay, I had 2 Black Redstart in front of me and in the harbour, the 1st winter male Eider
This White-speck was with 2 Rusty-dot Pearl at Star Castle. Also there were 3 Rusty-dot Pearl at Porthloo
Yesterday there was an increase in Skylark, Snipe, Chaffinch and Black Redstart. Of the former, over 40 were seen including 20 at Green Farm, 12 at Content, 7 at airfield and Tony had 8 on the football field. Over 100 Chaffinch were at Green Farm, 80+, Content and 60+Old Town. 13 Black Redstart were on the beaches including 9 on Porthloo and I didn't see them, but 10 Snipe each were at Porth Hellick and Lower Moors. 3 Jack Snipe at the latter site also arrived With this influx.
Some of you might of seen this already, but it's so damn funny. 'What?!'
