Odd Knot!

Juvenile Knot with a deformed bill

Drizzle and fog throughout the day. A search from the control tower found a Ruff had joined the 4 BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER on the airfield. Just after 14.00, a BALTIMORE ORIOLE came on the pager at the pig fields, Garrison! I saw the one on Bryher, 28/9/99, and that's a long time ago and I ain't going to see this one until tomorrow, if it stays.

I only had time to have a quick look from the ISBG hide at Lower Moors and saw one of the juvenile PECTORAL SANDPIPERS. A drive past Maypole saw the BEE-EATER looking sorry for itself in the crap weather!

At Porthloo I spotted this juvenile Knot with a deformed bill. Instaed of having a straight bill, it had a curved bill

The BEE-EATER wishing it was back in the Mediterranean

Rens RED-EYED VIREO has moved to the Lower Broom Platform and this is where Chris Griffin got these craking shots from. He also got this superb shot of this Common Dolphin from the Scillonian on his return to Penzance.
